Discover LUMIX Stories for Change

LUMIX Stories for Change provided three photographers with a grant and Panasonic LUMIX S Series kit to create a photographic project of their choosing that explores some of the most important issues of our time.

With categories loosely based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the first commissions in the LUMIX Stories for Change series will explore the themes of Inclusion and Belonging.

‘Traces Left Behind’ by Catherine Hyland – private talk/screening and Q&A from British Journal of Photography.

To celebrate the release of the first LUMIX Stories for Change commission, a private talk and screening by award winning photographer Catherine Hyland hosted by British Journal of Photography. The free event will take place at the Import Building near East India on the 6th of February. Doors open at 6:30pm, the talk and screening begins at 7:00pm followed by a Q&A and drinks reception till 9.30pm.

‘Painted Lines’ by Frederick Paxton – Interview and Q&A from British Journal of Photography.

On 12th November at 6:30pm,  British Journal of Photography hosted a talk by Emmy nominated photographer Frederick Paxton to celebrate the release of the second LUMIX Stories for Change commission. Due to COVID-19 this free event took place online.

‘Baruch’ by Laura Pannack – Interview and Q&A from British Journal of Photography.

On the 17th December at 6:00pm, British Journal of Photography hosted a talk with multi award winning photographer Laura Pannack to celebrate the release of the final LUMIX Stories for Change commission. Due to COVID-19 this free event took place online.
